The UNLV Rebels look for a monster upset victory to get a game above a .500 record. The UNLV Rebels have lost eight of their last 10 road games. The Ohio State Buckeyes look for their second home victory to build on their rocky 2-1 start. The Ohio State Buckeyes have won 14 of their last 16 home games. J.T. Barrett is completing 62.1 percent of his passes for 757 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. Barrett has one or less touchdown passes in eight of his last 12 games. Parris Campbell and K.J. The Rebels are 24-49-4 ATS in their last 77 road games, 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. Big Ten and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. The Buckeyes are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The under is 6-2 in Buckeyes last 8 home games and the over is 23-7 in Rebels last 30 games overall.
Ohio State is coming off its best and most consistent showing of the season in a 31-point win over Army, but I’m not sure that means we throw another crazy number out there. The Buckeyes still have stretches where they don’t look interested. Heck, that Army – OSU game last weekend was only a 10-point lead at halftime. Until Ohio State looks like the championship contender its supposed to be, it shouldn’t be getting numbers like this. UNLV has a creative ground game that eats time off the clock and is averaging over seven yards per carry. The Rebels also gave teams like UCLA and Boise State on the road fights last year, so this won’t be a culture shock for them. I’ll gladly take my 40 free points here.
